The Midland Theatre is one of Kansas City's most treasured buildings. Throughout the elegant Theatre and Grand Lobby giant Czechoslovakian chandeliers highlight the ornate marble balustrades and multi-million dollar artwork. This landmark is the premier venue for your private event.
Main Theatre
The newly remodeled floor offers seven level tiers allowing for a wide variety of event setups, and the versatility to accommodate smaller intimate occasions.
Built-in Stage and Dance Floor
The stage offers over 2,000 square feet of event space for entertainment and programs. The Theatre also features a built-in dynamic house sound and lighting system.
Grand Lobby
With over 6,000 square feet of available space, including a mezzanine, the lobby of the Midland is the perfect spot for an elegant cocktail hour.
The Chandelier Bar
The Chandelier Bar highlights the entire top floor of the main theatre and features a full-circle bar surrounding a large inverted chandelier for a cocktail reception for up to 150 guests. In combination with Windows on Main, host a cocktail hour for up to 350 guests.
Windows on Main
Located on the fifth floor of the Midland Theatre, Windows on Main showcases dramatic views of the city and the Power & Light District. This unique space can accommodate groups of 50 to 200 guests.
